Darwin International Airport has welcomed approval of its Home and Lifestyle Super Centre Major Development Plan by the Federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, Anthony Albanese.
Major Development Plans are required under the federal Airports Act 1996 for any substantial development on airport land, and include extensive public consultation and studies into environmental, social and economic impacts.
The Home and Lifestyle Super Centre represents the next exciting phase of Darwin International Airport’s commercial precinct and will provide a contemporary, air-conditioned and centrally located destination for shoppers, with the added benefit of undercover parking.
