Receptionist/Administration Support - Darwin International Airport

Darwin International Airport is currently seeking a friendly and dynamic individual to fill the permanent position of Receptionist/Administration Support at the Airport Management Centre.

Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the primary functions of this role are as follows: 

  • Managing a busy reception area;
  • Providing exceptional customer service to the clients and other visitors to the office;
  • Organise postage and courier services and the distribution of incoming mail;
  • Maintenance of office equipment and ordering of supplies;
  • General office duties and administration support to the executive team;
  • Providing administration support to the Operations team; and
  • Maintain the meeting rooms to a high standard

You will need to have good MS Office skills including Excel and Outlook, great attention to detail, be self motivated in taking your own initiative and be a good team player. If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!

Northern Territory Airports (NT Airports) is a subsidiary of the Airport Development Group (ADG) who manages and operates the three Northern Territory Airports comprising Darwin International Airport, Alice Springs Airport and Tennant Creek Airport.

Darwin International Airport is looking for an experienced asset manager who will provide strong leadership for the day to day operations of the Darwin Airport Terminal and other associated facilities.  You will also be involved with the Terminal Expansion team to ensure the delivery of quality facilities that can be maintained cost effectively.

Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for the management of building services and maintenance; supervising projects including capital works, fit out and refurbishments; overseeing contractors and external consultants; managing preventative maintenance schedules and overseeing building OH&S.

To be successful it is essential you have a strong technical understanding of all essential services and if you have previous experience as an Asset Manager in a large commercial facility this will be looked upon favourably. You will also have strong skills in the areas of creating and monitoring budgets, computerised maintenance system, managing subcontractor services, identifying solutions to reduce operating costs and overheads, manage compliance and sustainability and liaising with tenants.
