ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL/INFRASTRUCTURE - re-advertised

Darwin International Airport is seeking an all-round generalist Engineer ideally who has experience in either electrical, building services and/or infrastructure.

The role encompasses all aspects of engineering services in and around the airport where you will work with key stakeholders to ensure that future infrastructure needs are delivered just in time to meet key aeronautical and non-aeronautical development needs at the Darwin Airport.

Duties Include but not limited to:

  • Assist in the development a 5-year rolling infrastructure development plan.
  • Assist with Utilities & Infrastructure related projects (i.e. energy/ sewerage/ water/ and drainage).
  • Assist the Infrastructure Manager in assessing all development applications for infrastructure implications and in accordance with Airport Building Control Regulations.
  • Understand current infrastructure constraints and capacity limitations and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop commercially viable solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of Annual NTAPL Capital & OpenX Budgets for key infrastructure requirements.

You will possess the following skills:

  • Tertiary qualified with 3-5 years’ experience
  • Good understanding of essential services
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills
