Changes to Parking, Roadworks and Masks at Darwin International Airport

The 2-minute express drop off/pick up zones at Darwin Airport have changed to immediate set down/pick up only. Vehicles will not be able to wait for passengers in these zones. Free 15-minute parking continues to be available in the short-term car park. We recommend all travellers allow additional time to travel to and from the airport.

Masks are no longer required in NT airport terminals.

Why Work With Us

It's an exciting time to be part of ADG

The contribution the Airport Development Group (ADG) and our valued team makes is undeniably significant.

The combination of all the on airport and off-airport businesses based in and around our airports of Darwin, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek contribute over 1.5% of the gross state product of the Northern Territory.

We have recently completed the terminal expansion program at Darwin Airport ahead of schedule, including the upgrade and development of our International Terminal worth over $75M; and we have invested $22M at Alice Springs over the past 5 years, including almost $5M in solar power, and $9M in upgrade and refurbishment of RPT Apron Aircraft parking.

We are proud of our achievements and our role in the community. We recognise that it is our dedicated, responsive team members who have ensured our success and who have shaped our unique culture and built our sound reputation for service excellence.

What is the difference between Airports Development Group (ADG) and Airport Development Group Pty Ltd (ADGPL)?

Airports Development Group (ADG) is ultimately the parent company of the group that includes Airport Development Group Pty Ltd (ADGPL) and Tennant Creek Airport Pty Ltd (TCAPL).

ADGPL comprises Darwin International Airport Pty Ltd and Alice Springs Airport Pty Ltd.

Visit the About Us page for further information.

Do I need to go through any checks to become part of the team?

All successful applicants are required to provide a five year work related history with employer referee contact details including referee details from his/her current employer.

To comply with security restrictions and the federal Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations, every team member needs to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which will require you to undertake a Federal Police clearance.

Some positions will also require that staff pass a drug and alcohol screening test prior to commencing work with us and may be subject to random alcohol and/or drug testing.

I’m not an Australian citizen – can I work for ADG?

Yes: if you are a permanent resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen who has entered Australia on a valid passport, you are allowed to stay and work in Australia without restriction; or

You are a non-citizen with a valid visa that provides work rights: a current passport containing the visa is proof of eligibility. As the visa has an expiry date, non-citizens can only engage in casual, temporary or fixed term roles that do not extend beyond the expiry date. Visitors on a Working Holiday visa are permitted to work in temporary or casual roles, but for no longer than six months.

It is your responsibility, if you are not an Australian citizen, to provide evidence of your right to work in Australia at the time of your application. If you do not include this evidence, your application will not proceed.

Can I send you my resume/CV?

Application rates are high for jobs with ADG; our job opportunities are advertised when they become available (primarily online through our website and popular job-seeking websites), and we encourage you to apply then as we do not keep resumes on file.
