Darwin International Airport has designated areas to pick up and drop off passengers. To keep traffic flowing, these zones are available for immediate drop off/pick up only, with a maximum wait time of 2 minutes. The driver of the vehicle must remain with their vehicle. Vehicles left unattended will be subject to an immediate fine and may be towed away.
Tips
- If you think you’ll be longer than two minutes, make the most of our short-stay car park where you can park under 10 minutes for free.
- Always allow additional time to travel to and from the airport.
- Drop off: Say goodbye in your own time by parking in one of our 3 car parks and heading into the terminal with family or friends.
- Pick-up: Plan ahead and ask the person you’re picking up to text or call you when they're ready to go. You can also use our flight tracker for real-time arrival info.
